The way you move is a direct reflection of what is present in your body, mind, emotions, and Soul. Therefore, when you learn to understand and control how your body moves, you do not only increase vitality in the physical body, but also gain insight into the deeper layers of your human being. 

This holistic approach to movement, in which we aim to attune to an increasingly refined experience of self through consciously moving the body, enables you to gradually grow your capacity to host a gracious and powerful expression of mind, emotions, and soul through the vessel of your physical being.

Practicalities

Movement Sessions are meant to be a single or periodic point of contact, providing you with new insight which you can then integrate in your personal practice.

We begin by getting clear on your specific desires and challenges when it comes to movement. Then, I guide you into specific movements which are attuned to what you want and need. In doing so, I draw upon a wide variety of exercises, from breathing, flow and mobility exercises to strongman lifts and high intensity training.

If you want, I can provide you with a custom-made movement plan, attuned to your being. 

Sessions can take place online via Zoom or in-person in Amersfoort and last approximately 75 minutes. They are facilitated in Dutch or English.

Online sessions are limited in their capacity when it comes to teaching specific movement patterns, making live sessions preferable. However, there are still a lot of possibilities while working online.

Before the session, you will receive a document with further practical details and preparatory questions – make sure you set aside time and space to answer those and send your answers to me at least 24 hours before the start of the session.

After the session(s) we will be in touch regarding how things are moving and possible next steps.

Seeking to sense, articulate and embody what truly matters has been a recurring thread in my life. I have been on a profound inner journey - looking deep into the workings of body, mind, emotions, and soul - while learning to integrate and embody insight through a variety of movement practices and other modes of creative expression. Through this process, I have gained a profound understanding of how a human moves, literally and metaphorically, and how we can transform pain in a growing experience of aliveness. Essentially, I learned how our life, expressed in movement, can be an articulation of the greatest source of vitality, peace and strength - our Soul. Now, I love to walk beside others on the journey of becoming Human.
