The way we move is a direct reflection of what is present in our body, mind, emotions, and soul. Therefore, when we learn to understand and control how our body moves, we do not only increase vitality in our physical body, but we also gain insight into the deeper layers of our human being.
This holistic approach to movement, in which we aim to attune ourselves to an increasingly refined experience of self through consciously moving our body, enables us to gradually grow our capacity to host a gracious and powerful expression of our mind, emotions and soul through the vessel of our physical being.

Method
First, we get clear on your specific needs and desires when it comes to movement.
Then, I guide you into specific movements which are attuned to your specific desire and circumstance. In doing so, I draw upon a wide variety of movements, from breathing, flow and mobility exercises to strongman lifts and high intensity training.
We pay specific attention to how you can build and maintain a sustainable movement practice in your life. If you want, I can supply you with a movement plan which gives you a concrete outline for your practice.
Live or online sessions
Online sessions are limited in their capacity when it comes to teaching specific movement patterns, making live sessions preferable. However, there are still a lot of possibilities while working online.
Location & practicalities
Sessions can take place online via Zoom or in-person at CrossFit StoneAge (indoor) or the Soesterduinen (outdoor) in Amersfoort.
Sessions last approximately 75 minutes and are facilitated in Dutch or English – the former being my native tongue – yet I am fluent in the latter.
Movement Sessions are meant to be a single or periodic point of contact, providing you with new insight which you can then integrate in your personal movement practice. Humans looking for a more profound levels of change and support can look at my mentorship.

Process
Before the session, you will receive a document with further practical details and preparatory questions – make sure you set aside time and space to answer those and send your answers to me at least 24 hours before the start of the session.
After the session(s) we will be in touch regarding how things are moving and possible next steps.
When I feel you need something I cannot give you, I can refer you to other capable therapists and coaches in my network.

Investment
You are invited to choose your contribution according to your financial capacity and the value received. The investment is between 95-145 EUR (125 recommended). Prices do not include 21% VAT.
The lower limit applies to people with a minimum wage/financial hardship. The recommended price applies to a normal income. The upper limit is desirable – allowing me to offer my services at lower rates to humans who need that.
You will receive a payment request after our session(s).
If you feel a call to work with me, yet are hindered to do so by financial constraints, you are invited to get in touch – we will look for a fitting solution.
Soul or Movement Sessions
Soul Sessions have a primary focus on how your Soul’s journey through life is reflected in the mental and emotional world. Movement Sessions bring attention to how your body moves – and thereby reflects your mind, emotions, and Soul.

About me
Seeking to sense, articulate and embody what truly matters has been a recurring thread in my life. I have been on a profound inner journey - looking deep into the workings of body, mind, emotions, and soul - while learning to integrate and embody insight through a variety of movement practices and other modes of creative expression. Through this process, I have gained a profound understanding of how a human moves, literally and metaphorically, and how we can transform pain in a growing experience of aliveness. Essentially, I learned how our life, expressed in movement, can be an articulation of the greatest source of vitality, peace and strength - our Soul. Now, I love to walk beside others on the journey of becoming Human.
